How much money will I need to set aside to bring for college, besides educational expenses. I will need things such as cosmetics, school activities, clubs, maybe buying paper, if I want to go out with friends, etc. How much? Is it best to bring it in the form of cash or an ATM card?
I’ve been living in Japan for a few months and I need to return to America for a bit. I get direct-deposit into my Japanese bank account and I won’t receive my money until after I leave the country, but I can’t figure out how to withdraw that money while in America. My bank doesn’t issue checks, traveler’s checks have to be prepaid, and my ATM card doesn’t have a magnetic strip or a credit card logo (it just has a microchip). What can I do?
I don’t have a ATM Debit card, My money is not in my account yet. It arrives 1 day after my flight. What can I do so that I can get my money? Can I tell them to wire it or something. Can I open up a bank account over there, and ask them to wire it to that account?
