What are the biggest disconnects of party to base for each of the parties, respectively?
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010For instance, the GOP doesn’t want to touch the abortion issue with a ten foot poll. Their rabid, fundamentalist base wants it all but outlawed.
For Democrats, it’s a bit harder to say. Their base still wants action to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan and the Obama administration is trucking along just like the previous one did. Either that, or some type of harsh regulation of banks or Wall Street.
