I am a single mom of a boy age 8 and a girl age 10. We have lived in my mothers’s basement sharing the same space for 6 years, now we have a 2 bedroom apartment and I being the parent took the larger room and gave the children the smaller room. I have not received to much applause for doing that from the grandparents but everyone else, such as friends and my sister thinks it’s the priviledge of being the parent and the children should graduate to a larger room after cleaning and learning to keep their smaller room in order. I just want to know what others think about this set up I have with my kids.

A woman I know of is most likely going to lose her kids due to abuse. Kentucky social services is talking about giving "indefinate" custody to one of the kids’ (divorced) grandparents or other relatives like an aunt or uncle.

How will they determine who will get the children? Living conditions, location (as in how close to the mother), financial stability, etc? Can an unmarried, heterosexual, financially stable couple ask for custody? How much will small-town politics help someone who doesn’t deserve the kids gain custody? If custody is granted to someone and they move in with the mother, will social services re-take the kids?

My grandparents recently evicted a pair of less-than-savory men who left, by my estimation, almost 00 worth of electronics including an Xbox 360, controllers, PS2, Sega Genesis, 2 TVs, and a Sony VAIO, among other things. How long are they forced to leave them for the former tenants to pick up? Is there a limit?

If a person has sex then they are taking a chance of becoming pregnant and now i am pregnant (but i was raped, i did report the guy, but my family will not care about that =’( ) and my life is already Fucked up but its nothing i cant fix or make work
